its going slow, working is eating up a lot of my time. The cool weather isn't helping either. I still need to removed some old wood from the transom and grind some spots down so I can glass my inner transom skin in so then I can pour my arjay.
Mike,

The door was used to access my batteries and oil tank. On the 79' that was the access to the bilge.

Hey Mulv80, I was just looking at a post that you responded to about deck seats. You showed pictures of a v20 cuddy that you have or used to have. I was wondering what the door on the front side of the splash well was for. just looking for ideas for my restoration.

Hello Rscott, I bought mine used from a member of this forum a few years back. He had an '83 V20 in great shape and I was told it was the factory bimini and enclosure that came with it. He sold it to me for $550, w/ bimini, bimini frames, and all curtains. It shipped it from Florida to NC. I have a '94 V21 which has curved side windows - so I had to add some snaps to the side curtains to match up to the side windshield on the boat. Other than that, great fit.

It has more than paid for itself over the years. In the summer I just use the front curtain to keep the spray and wind off my face. In winter I put the full enclosure and throw in a propane "buddy" heater and it is very comfortable. Fished once when it snowed 2" and would've never made it out there without the enclosure. Good luck and hope this helps.
My son just got a v20. He wants to put a bimini and enclosure on it. May I ask what you paid for yours? Its one of the nicest I've seen. Looks like a pilot house.
Hey I have a question for ya. how much vc performance epoxy did it take to paint your bottom? Im gonna buy a 2 gallon kit and want to know if i will have enough to do another boat with the rest. thanks for your help.

geez Paul, so sorry I just saw your message! I thought I had responded to it. I am doing ok I have some issues with the neck surgery but I think just from over doing it as usual, trying to be smarter and use my head as opposed to my body. As I posted amonth ago my youngest just got married . They bought a house three blocks from me, of course its a total gut and i'm about to get started on it (ugh) but I just cant bring myself to tell her maybe we should bring in some help so I will get as many family members to do the lugging I hope, any way how are you doing and how is the new house and have you been on the water at all?
Thanks! I have to update my photos! Much has happened since the last time I documented... Seat boxes have lids, working on rewiring batts under the seat boxes. Adding under gunnel led lighting. Fold down transom bench seat. Radar arch with spreaders, spotlight and NAv light. More to come friendo!
Do you have any pics of your live well set up? I have 2 access hatches in the floor that are not being used for anything. I was thinking of putting a live well in them.
hEY blue, Got word yesterday that the cobias are showing up inshore in Hatteras. we gonna fish out of Teaches on Saturday. Whens your vacation week down there?

Been following your rebuild. I have a 1983 V20 and am going to get mine going this spring. Curious if you did replace the fuel tank and if you used Ajay on stringers. Jim
