Va Beach v20 project

KRACKER, been a long time since i have seen any of your post! Your boat looks amazing!!!!!! Hats off to a truly wonderful build. I just saw your post about your t-top and have some questions. My t-top looks almost exactly like yours. Can you explain how you got the kingboard to conform to the arch in the the frame ,how did you attach it to the frame, how did you hide cables and wires? Do you still have a pattern you used to shape the top? Please pm me with so more info as i would really like to do that to mine. What kind of cost did you encure start to finish. thanks in advance JOHN:sun:

The Starboard XL board i used will conform to the top and will create memory. I used clamps to keep it clamped to the top. My top when it was originally made the top was held down with stainless screws the were drilled a tapped.

Curtains are finished. Put a lot of money in this boat past couple weeks but she is looking good!

Kracker, she's a thing of beauty. No doubt about it. But I have one question. The new side curtains look like they are attached to the gunnals. So how do you get to the front of the boat with them up, or am I missing something?

Des here is my summer set up. It consist of 3 panels...the front panel and 2 side wing panels. The side wing panels can either clip to the console creating a dog house style set up of they can clip to gunnels like pictured creating and wall effect. When the 4 and 5th panel or the winter time panels are attached you can walk thru the side panel and wing panel. Kinda hard to explain with out pics.

This wing panel unzips from the side/gunwale panels then you unclip from gunwale and walk thru.

Ok, that's a cool design. I like the fact that you can have them in either position. Out to the gunnels they act like the breaks on a Destroyer (Breaks = breakwater) Designed to prevent waves and spray from traveling down the sides of the ship. Closed they will provide a nice sheltered area during colder weather for you and your passenger(s). Smart idea.:clap::clap::clap:

As I’m getting closer to getting going on my V21 project I know I’ll be referencing this thread ALOT so I figured I’d bump it up to make it quicker to find. Love this build.

It has been a long time since I have been in here!!! I hope everyone is doing well. A lot has happened in my life since this thread was started. Im getting ready to start a transom bracket thread on this boat. I’m gonna close the transom off and put a bracket on. Been fishing this boat pretty hard, took it on a 7 day trip down to Islamorada last November (these boats are perfect for that kind of fishing). I will post some fishing pics soon.

Having taken my old V20 to the Keys numerous times I agree that the V20 was designed and built for the Keys.

Looking forward to seeing your bracket thread.
