I'm a Great Lakes guy. What's the difference between a White and a Blue Marlin? Billy Mac ;D

Looks like those guys had some fun!

SAME FAMILY, DIFFERENT SPECIES. THEY ARE BASICALLY COUSINS. THE BIG BLUE MARLINS WILL ACTUALLY EAT THE WHITE MARLINS. THE WHITE MARLIN GETS TO A MAX SIZE OF AROUND 115 POUNDS, THE BLUE MARLIN CAN REACH SIZES OF 1200 POUNDS. OTHER THAN SIZE, AND COLOR THEY ARE BASICALLY THE SAME FISH

Good Luck to our local boys there from Morehead City, NC

Yeah, did you see where Dream Catcher out of Cape May sank to the ocean floor this morning at 6am? All crew were picked up by passing boats and are safe.

Said the 60' Paul Mann boat hit something in the water and went down very quickly.

I heard the same thing as Blue. I heard it struck something in the water about 20 miles off. The Dream Catcher suposedly almost sank last summer during the Mid Atlantic 500 tournament in Cape May. I'm not sure what the problem was last year.

Heard it on the Bass Barn in the offshore section this morning:

Cy, they said once the other 2 boats picked up the crew, they continued fishing rather than bringing the Dream Catcher crew home due to all of the tourny $$ at stake. Can't say I blame them. It was nice of them to take a tourny time out just to rescue the crew as I'm sure there's some out there that would have turned a blind eye to a sinking boat in lieu of the $$.

Couple of pix of Dream Catcher in her day:

Sad to think she's sitting out there on the sea floor in over 100ft of water as we speak :'(

WOW :o

WONDER WHY THE COAST GUARD DID NOT TAKE THE CREW IN? THAT WAS THE COAST GUARD IN THE VIDEO WASN'T IT. WE NEED TO GET THE COORDINATES TO MSBHAMMER, HE CAN GO SALVAGE THE RODS AND STUFF OFF OF IT.

WELL OTHER THAN THE BOAT SINKIN, THEY CAUGHT ANOTHER 500LB. BLUE MARLIN, AND AN 80LB. WHITE MARLIN WHICH IS HUGE FOR WHITES
