Yea I had a bit of a sticker shock when I did mine also!! But you are doing it right the first time you you are saving money!

Put some hangers in both sides of the boat and the rear. The original ones were no longer there.

Glued them in about every 16 inches with fast cure 5200.

The hangers are 2 1/2 '' pvc that were cut 1" and ruffed up where the 5200 would stick better.

The fast cure was so sticky I could have probably got away without duct tapeing them in place, love this stuff.
More to do, more to do.

I need to add some new ones also. Another project will it ever end??

Thanks for the tip!! I got a bad foot, can anyone come do it for me? ;) ;D

MJ, I'm sure one of them guys will be glad to throw you in the boat. You will be spending most of your time on your back anyway. Oh, and you'll find out 2" is too small and 3" is too big. Buy a 10' piece of electrical pvc and cut with a miter or chop saw.
Reel, Daddy was on me yesterday to finish it enough to put it in the water. Quessing a couple of weeks.
What to do is everything:steering, gauges, controls,(all)electrical, mount motor, hell I ain't even put the numbers on yet.

Well all my stuff is run and done, But I have a lot tied to the steering cable to hold up nice.

But I have to replace the rope lights and That will be perfect, and as needed I will move or add wires to it over time.

I'm sure you can knotch and glue. However it will be time consuming. You'll have to prop it up instead of duct tapeing it.

I had a sheet like that and another of 1/2, Very little left now that I did the hole boat over in it!!
