Location: Lancaster, PA USA Have had three LoadRite trailers and prefer them. Did have several annoying problems with my new trailer that were not all the manufacturer's fault. I fixed them myself, but decided to call the President of LoadRite, Bob Roseman, and alert him to these problems. He showed concern and wanted all the details, so he could track down where and why the problems occurred.

At the end of our conversation, I mentioned that I wanted to shorten the tongue 2' for better maneuverablilty. Asked him some specifics as to how to best deal with the wiring and brake lines. He did explain several ways of doing it. Then he offered to have the "adjustment" made at his plant in Fairless Hills, PA at no cost. This sounded good to me.

Bob asked me to take a series of digital pics of the boat on the trailer, so he could consult with his engineers and make sure that shortening the tongue would not cause me any problems.

I took the trailer sans boat to the LoadRite plant this morning. President Roseman introduced me to the head of manufacturing, Hugh Berry, and one of the engineers. The trailer was picked up and placed in one of their bays. I reviewed the pics with the two men and they decided that they would replace the tongue with a new one 24" shorter.

While there I mentioned that it seemed that two brake seals were seeping more than the normal amount of grease. They replaced all four seals. They also noticed from the pics that my boat could be lowered 1.5 inches and still have clearance on the fenders. That was done also. Without me asking they removed the remains of the LoadRite decals that I had blown off during a 14 degree temp day at the car wash and replaced them with new ones.

When my boat was originally put on the trailer, the two rear bunks were smashed and the carpet torn. Even though LoadRite had nothing to do with this problem, they offered to put four new bunks on my trailer.

My buddy and I got a tour of the manufacturing facility and were given two sharp LoadRite caps. President Roseman and Hugh Berry were extremely cordial and could not have done more in the area of customer service. I feel my trailer is 100% at this point. It is good when products are totally correct from the start, but that is not always the case. The next best thing is having a company that goes the extra mile to make things right. LoadRite could not have done more.

Well I called the dealer and he doesn't want to do anything!! Says I got what I ordered!! I said no I did not! And that he wanted me to take a bunk trailer.

I called Load rite and talked to a coustmer rep and we went onver all the numbers and the title says it is a 5 star trailer ?? And the modle number for the load rite number they put in does not exsit??

So I was told then that they are not a deler for loadrite?? So the title says the dealer is Northeast Marine and that I should call there.

I called there and they said yes I should have 14" tires and for me to fax the stuff to them.
I did and then I called him back and he was on the phone (with Alantic Marine I am sure!!) When he came back to the phone he said that they sent what was prdered and that they made the mistake on the tire size and that it is to have 13" tires ??? BOY THEY STICK TOGHTER!!!

So I said I ordered a trailer that was a rolloer trailer with 14" tires and they try to shove a bunk down mt throat, Then they get the right trailer with the wrong tires, and the trailer says 14" title says 14" but I have 13" and that is what it supose to be??

I just called Load Rote again and asked for the same guy I was talking to and will see were this is going to go?

Always me :o

O buy the way Sea, Wild Bill sent me the # for the Prez but I am holding out till I am at a dead end.

I am so confused!! ;)

Pics of documents (title, receipt, deposit order), stickers, decals and roller brackets would help, if you want to.

5starr is a subsidiary of Loadrite.
Ricky don't lose that number! :D

I am still waiting for load rite to call. And i also forgot that I did order a 4900 # with 24 rollers!!
