Today . . . The bracket got it's first round of body work and I didn't lift a finger!!

I did all the work up until yesterday and let me tell you . . . I could get used to other people doing my work ;)

Just kidding . . . Jorge is a sanding machine!! He's the hardest worker I've ever met in my life. He's done a few jobs for my buddy chuck. Chuck had him go crazy on my bracket yesterday for a few hours . . . he did a very very nice job with the MUD for round 1.

I'm pretty excited . . . in the other pics you can't get a good idea how large it really is . . . But with Jorge next to bracket . . . it really looks HUGE.

I think Jorge is afraid you will send him back to Mexico. :-X :-X :-X ;) ;)

Just kidding, he is doing a great job for you and
yes you can get used to people doing work for you.
I am still on a 20 lb weight restriction, so I have to get people to do my heavy work.

MJ - It's close to 100lbs . . . I'm going to hang it up soon and weigh the bracket. If my math is correct . . . the bracket will provide roughly 400lbs of positive flotation.

you can calculate the volume figure, 1 cubic foot = 7.48 US gals. @8.25 lb per gal. or...If it is easy to drain, you could fill it with water one gal at a time and measure its displacement.

I got the bracket primed this weekend! Just gotta remove the old motor, plug the hole, sand, paint, bolt on, rig, and go!! Only a few weeks till Salmon Season. :)

hang the bracket first, then add motor, the air in the bracket is the floation, there is nothing to add.
