Yeah, the one on there now is a 25" I guess, but it is a 20" transom boat with a plate on there for the 25" motor.

Speaking of the transom, it is solid.

That's what its all about. Looking at the pic of your boat, it looks like it would work.

Just remember, my motor is around 400 pounds, what does your I/O combo weigh?

Randleman, seen your pics. Your lucky that your 90 degree elbow on the underside of your deck drain is intact. Mine were broken and wasnt able to find replacement parts. Had to go with a larger deck drain myself.

All this drain talk??
whats the big deal??
I have no drains, goes to the bilge!
I have no pumps, Just wait till i get home pull the plug!!

Was great last year when I had a leak in the hull!! :o Someone (not me) screwed a pump to the floor at one time and the screw rotted away leaving me wit a 1/8 hole, Amazing how much water gets in thur that small of a hole!! :o

CB quick get the hand pump!! ;) I knew I brought him for a reason!! ;D

It seems that the boat is in pretty good shape. I was supprised at how nice and clean the bilge area was.

I think overall it is a good boat........the Merc, I'm not so sure.

Mine self bails out the back.
One of the hoses is broken, so it drains into the bilge.
I think there are supposed to be ball check valves
in my deck drain hoses, but they are broken.
so, I keep corks in the rear hose exits and any water drains into the bilge.
I have a bilge pump that I run occasionally.
After last year when I forgot my bilge plug and almost sank the V,
I will not be caught without a bilge pump.

HAMMER, go take some pix for me, just kidding,
I just checked all my boat pix and I don't have any here.

I say we use the proceeds from this years fishing tourney to buy MJ a bilge pump before he ends up at the bottom of the sea.

The funny thing is I have 2 brand new pumps sitting on the bench right now, one is a 500 the other is a 1200.

There is no room for me to get them in the bilge, cause of the gas tank I added (25 gal) so I just go with out for the last 4 or 5 years.

What I need is a self priming pump that can go on th deck with a hose in the bilge, and hope that when I turn it on it can draw up about 10" and then spit it out.

I also have to wash down pumps that I have been thinking of putting in there, maybe that would do the trick??

But for now I have a hand pump and CB along for the ride, so as long as CB can pump thats how long we will float! ;D ;)
