Anchor bow roller install

Thanks Skunkboat. I***8217;ve been doing something similar with the chain***8230;you***8217;re right, it really doesnt move around too much. I***8217;d rather not remove the bow cleat to make room for the tensioner. I imagine if I run the way it is for a bit I***8217;ll get used to it and quit worring about it. Thanks.

I just put an old speargun rubber through the anchor shackle, pull the anchor up and the pull the rubber up over the cleat. Snubs it up fine

Also, if you're going to hang your anchor overboard, make sure you safety wire the clevis pin so it won't back out

i watched the anchor fly off and heard & felt it hit the prop. Cost me about $400 to learn that lesson

Hello folks, Does anyone have any info about where a Bimini or other style top for my V20 can be purchased, is there a better top than the Bimini? In your own humble opinions?

Thanks and stay safe

I bought mine off Amazon. Fits well started with the cheaper aluminum ones and they have lasted 2 years so far and will at least this year too I guess. I can post the link on Amazon if you want I needed up getting an 8 ft one I think. Will post more details and pictures if you are still looking.

@ahokrags, I really like the anchor roller. I think it was well worth the money.

I've set up the roller and bow pulpit made out of Ipe wood, replaced the single bow light with a separate port and starboard ones, and removed the cleat for the anchor. I haven't put a new cleat on yet, or actually used the anchor yet, but I think it'll be a big improvement!

More to come once I'm done!

Great. I could not get mine in through the winter. Will look into it this summer
