i went to put fuel in boat toay with the boat on my lift. i saw some oil on the water under the stern. i first thought it was coming from my outboard hyd steering cyl,as i knew it has a slow leak and have ordered seal kit for it.lookin futher i saw green 2 cyl oil on top of the lower unit cavataion :head:plate. i had a leak last year and replaced the hose from the plastic juction plate to the vro,it seamed to fix it well guess not.it is not alot but it worrys me. will look at junction fri. any thoughts?the motor has been trimed all the down while it has been on the boat lift.question is will it hurt to run it as long as oil tank full?seems to leak more after sitting from what i can tell. any thoughts would be helpful!any johnson gods out there.

it could be leaking from the VRO pump check the pump before you do to much running so you don't lean it out and hurt a piston.

ok went down to the boat today with carb clean and cleaned everything down the blew it all dry with a air hose. then i put a paper towel under were the vro is. when i was trying to start it i saw fuel coming out of what looks like a shreader valve that has a red pointer on it (red pointer is pointing down) i think this is were it has been leaking and washing down on everything else. question is what is it that i am seeing leaking? and what do i do to correct it????thanks in advance for any help!!!!! i need it and i want to go boatriding!!!!!!!!!!
