I'll give my opinion.

That hull had a unique layout and it has the original stringers and transom.
So, hull value is not going to be a whole lot 2000-3000 maybe
the trailer unless it's brand new is going to be $1500 tops.

So now best case scenario sans power is $4000-4500

Just add the NADA value of each engine and there's your starting price.

With my V20, I am redoing all the stringers, transom, etc. Adding all new fittings, pumps, electronics, new paint, t top and I am going to rebuild the old 200 carbed Johnson I bought and put it on there. When it's all said and done, that boat will be 100x's better than when it left wellcraft and won't rot again due to the core's I am using. But, being realistic, if I can get 15k for the boat I would be ecstatic.

Great feedback

Once i place the suzuki on the V 20 I will drop the price and sell it cheaper then my asjing price....BTW
The deck and transom was professional redone in Oct 2012 so no soft spots issues with this hull

Great feedback

Now since i have found a trailer for the V20 and no longer have to pay boatlift rent I can wait if needed to sell her for a very fair price....I suzuki DF150 is a great motor and I am sure the right buyer will see the value in this boat..Hey if i have to sell its for 5500 i am sure it would sell pretty quick from what i have seen online in V 20.for sale .... I been looking for an aluminium tri axle trailer for weeks and couldn't find any under $1000 ......Cant find a good running 4 stroke 150 down here for under $3000.00 if so please Let me know who has a 150 hp good running engine for $3000 i will buy it as spare for my other boat

The pictures were upright on my cell ...Don't know why they posted like that.

I decided to swap outboards.I am going to remove the 2013 Mercury 150 from the V 20 and install a 2006 suzuki 150 from my new ised boat.. Then lower price.o the f wellcraft ..From what i have read online the Mercury give you a true 150 plus Hp since its has more displacement.then other 150 plus weights 30 lbs less. The mercury offers more torque since the lower unit gearing is higher....I can use this lower torque on my doqneaster type hull....

What do you guys feel is fair asking price for my wellcraft v 20 with suzuki installed.

Thanks

I really like your new boat. I think you are on the right track keeping the new Merc...although I am rather partial to Suzuki 4 strokes.

NADA (using my zip code, don't know yours) says your boats average retail price is $2660 (thats for the F20, there is no listing for a V20 converted to a F20) and the average retail on the Suzuki motor is $5225, add in your trailer around $1000 you are up to $8885 average retail.

We all know you rarely get average retail...but don't sell yourself short either.

BTW...the NADA average retail on your Merc is $10425, so you had a very fair price to start with IMO...but I am not in the market for a boat and its people who are in the market who's opinions count.

Priced Dropped

Update
Just waiting for my mechanic to finish the swapping of engines.

The boat is a 1989 not 1986 solid deck n transom. No soft spots anywhere.Engine is a 2007 Suzuki 150 hp 4 stroke with stainless prop.Bennett trim tabs.Fusion AmFm radio.VHF The trailer is a 2002 aluminum duel axle just replaced one axle n springs cost $447.00
I have title on hand for both boat n trailer.
Only thing this boat can use is hull paint.new wellcraft decals and would look like new..This is not a project boat but turn key

Asking S7600 well below NADA or best reasonible cash offer. If interested please to not hesitate to ask questions It's best to email me at 2captaingene@gmail.com.Seatrial with a days notice.
