I bought a 1982 V 20 earlier this month We took it to the lake first and it ran well noticed gas leaking from the stern, and then lowered the trailer tongue and it stopped but I think quite a bit leaked before I noticed took it to the coast and replaced the fuel line that was rotted thought we were good then went fishing on the bay and made a few stops then went to start it and we had an explosion which lifted me and my buddy off the deck, smoke came out of the forward hatch and we hit it with the fire extinquisher. Got towed back. pretty scary, hull looks fine but I think this old 1982 either had a bad leak in the fill line or a bad gas tank

Haven't seen you post in a while. Did you ever attach those spray rails to your V20?

Didn't you use cetrol on your teak? I got some but mine is the gloss (overcoat) did yo use just this or did you use wha goes on before this?
