Looking for the link on replacing the water pump on the df140. Saw in an old post you mentioned you had the manual in a pdf? Mine is an '06.
Thanks

I have a 1989 v20 I am trying to pull the gas tank out due to leakage .i have scraped the styrofoam away from the sides as much as I can and the tank still won't budge any suggestions or helpful tricks?
Sadly, after 32 years (29 running), the High Dive has left for a new home. A lifetime of memories on the boat. My daughters grew up on that boat.. Looking to replace with something more (now grandkids :) friendly. Looking at a 2004 V-21 this weekend as it seems a direct upgrade. Like the steps to the bow, head, finished cuddy. Not liking the way the bow was rounded off as it seems easy to slide off... or maybe a early 2000's Sea Hunt Victory 207 (if you can find one) or a Victory 225 W/A. They seem light but sea worthy. Anyway, there she goes...

What town are they in? We are A Blossom Shop Florist in Bayville, NJ.

I think the 86 is just like the 84 and I could not pull the cable without moving the motor.
That said, the cable hole had already been cutout wider to the transom and it still would not come out with either the old Merc 150 or the new zuki DF140.
It was really close but no way.
Try measuring from the cable nut to the end of the rod when it is turned all the way in. That is the distance that will not bend. If that is longer than the distance from the cable nut to the inside of the cutout, there is no way its coming out.

I picked up a brand new(Chinese) 1 ton motor jack for $109 at Harbor Freight
Saw in a post i was reading you own a flower shop? So do my parents, have for over 30 years down here in south jersey. C&J Florest

Could save me a ton of time if you know if you can pull the steering cable on an 86 wellcraft V20 (actually 20 fisherman) without pulling the motor?
going to look at a 84 v20 center console tomorrow, any ideas on what I should look for like hidden surprises this is somewhat of a project as far as a bad motor. I am told the floor are solid transom is as well but until I see it I don't believe it. I've been a silent lurker on this sight. Please any help would be appreciative
We are in Havana which is just north of Tallahassee. With a name like JaxBuck you must live around Jacksonville? We are still learning the area but so far enjoying it up here. We've had our V for about 3-4 years now it was an i/o until last year when I had some engine issues and decided to redo the transome any convert it to outboard. She now runs a 250 merc
Welcome to North Florida! I've had my Wellcraft V20 since 1988. Re-powered with Yamaha 150 outboard. Where are you moving, as in what community?
