Looking at a pic of your old V, it looks like the boat was "2 tone" or maybe had been painted from the water line down?  I looks good and I need to do something with mine as it is starting to look ratty below the waterline.

Looks one color to me. Might just be a shadowline, only then the pinstripping line. I was shocked to learn that he sold his V. :'(

thats were he removed the pin striping, it all one color, just wear the line is, is the original color of the hull.
