Sorry Ive been slack on the post and pics, but finally got my light grey durabak in the mail and I'm damn near finished with the V20(for this season anyway). I can't believe everything I've done since I got it. I ran it offshore last Sunday in a nice 2' swell and it was awsome! Coming back in against the wind was nasty but it rides so good I cant believe it. I'm loving this boat! Anyway, I figured I'd paint the deck and shut down all boat repair operations for this year so as to not forget why I got it.......to fish and ride! I know I need to sand the deck well but where do I get the Xylene to clean after?

I'm heading offshore to fish a few reefs Sunday and will post pics Sunday night of all progress and trip. Thanks guys!

Check the hardware stores and Lowes or Home Depot.
One of the paints we were useing a several weeks ago required it to be used as cleanup or thinner.

Having been reading about Durabak myself lately, they do specify to use only Xylene.

Check the Do's and Don'ts on the application notes:

http://www.cotelind.com/apptips.html#do

"DO Use only xylene cleaning solvent as last step before applying DURABAK™ and to thin DURABAK™ if necessary."

You should be able to get xylene at a paint store ie Sherwin Williams) and likely at you local big box (Depot or Lowes).

I just bought a gallon of it today $15 at Home Depo

Needed it to get all the black 5200 off me and CB, we had a 5200 wrestling match, much like a jello fight! :nut:
