Winterizing question

Last year I winterized my Yamaha ox66 by adding all the proper fuel additives and spraying fogging oil by romoving the plugs and rotating the motor. I did not remove the intake and Fog that way. Should I be doing that and if I do should I expect my o2 sensor to be fouled ?

I would fog through the intake if it was mine. That way you get a protective coating on the internal rotating assembly as well as the pistons/rings. You should clean the O2 in the spring, but I wouldn't think fogging it would kill one.

Just did my Ox66s. Sprayed some fogger into intakes while running then shut off, removed plugs and sprayed holes, turned over motors, sprayed some more, put plugs back, sprayed everything with WD40, put cover on....see you in April....

Ok Bradford, it already the worst day of the year for me when I lay up the boat.. you don't have to rub salt in the wound!!!! But Seriously. I used to leave the boat in a few weeks longer but as I get older I don't need to be power washing in the freezing weather.....Skunk, that's precisely what I did last night and then called the shrinkwrap guy. CRAP, I forgot the batteries ..

I guess it's what I get for making fun of you guys winterizing your boats...had a little snow, sleet, freezing rain over the weekend, and now lows in the 20's all week.

We got an inch or two before it turned back to rain and washed it away, just north of here, 25-30 miles, they got 8-10 inches.

:haha:
yep! laugh it up all you guys. I bet phat was a little cold in that hoodie this weekend.

Going out tomorrow, gonna be 78.

I envy you right now bud. Its 30 here in Portland right now with 30mph gorge winds. Your bones hurt when you walk outside. Woodstove is crankin while sipping on some bourbon, Luckily the sturgeon here dont mind so fishing year round is not a problem!

I like that truck

It's a 72. My grandfather bought it in 73, I got it from him in 82 for my first car.

The open area behind it is where I am getting ready to build my garage/shop so I can start a frame off restoration...maybe, I really like using it as a truck.

I'd rather have it as a cool clean driver Randleman, always liked those models.

Oh and we paid for that 78 degree day after the front came through, 50s and rain for 3 days. Wore long pants for the second time this season.
