Who's in?

I put in 4/28 and have been out twice since. Everything seems to be working fine, except the thottle gets stuck just past idle sometimes. Annoying when the motor is gasping. Most of the time I just pop it back in neutral and then put it back in gear and it's fine. I could probably use to spray a carb cleaner in there too. Anybody have any recommendations?

Last weekend was beautiful on LI Sound. Going fishing for the first time this weekend - all the tackle is still in my garage. The stripers are around now.

I've been out a couple times...had a starter go bad, installed new one. Only one small Striper so far but am going Friday! :)

Went out a few times over the winter...stripers there, but not hungry...not cold enough for bait-kill this year and linesides not interested, so didn't go much...kids outta school soon, so trips will increase... ;D...

Went out once, hopefully this weekend, short stripers around, no flounder to speak of, Old School running like a top :)

I am being told that I will be able to get my boat down Saturday morning @ 7:00 . I plan to be the first one that goes in !

not even close. i hope i can get in by the end of the month.

so much time and so little to do.

WELL AFTER I HAVE ALMOST COMPLETELY REDONE MOST OF MY BOAT, I AM FINALLY LAUNCHING HER SUNDAY. AND AS FAR AS EVERYONE IS SAYING THE FLOUNDER ARE IN ;D

Well, I don't think I was ever really out?  So I guess I'm still in!!  ;D
Same here! Except for hauling out over Christmas, she's been wet. I may even have to scrub her bottom soon. :-X ;)

Labii - Good luck to you!!

Tin - How's that boat treating you?

BS, boats doing great. I do have a tach problem, reading low...and suggestions? Also, my idle is a hair low. Any easy way to bump the idle on an EFI? I changed plugs, fuel filter and filter/seperator....runs great. Oh, my starter crapped the bed but I've changed that and it's good now. I'm turnin a 14x19p Vengeance screw, tops out at 49mph, sound right?

I decided last minute to take the boat out after work today. Got a Peconic Bay Grand Slam...A Fluke, Striper and a nice Weakfish. In 2 days the Fluke would have been a keeper , it was 19" but season opens Saturday. The Striper was a short but the Weak was 26". Filleted it up and will be having it tomorrow night....mmmmmm!:)

Taking tomorrow off and going again....shootin for a keeper Bass ;)

Good luck Tin, the bigguns are just dribling in on the Raritan Bay. Occasional on the last out tide, a bunch of shorts being caught that live here all year

Well, just got back and no keepers:( Many shorts though and the weather was fantastic. Great morning on the water!

I think I'll try for Fluke tomorrow, opening day.

Well I just got home, first trip since last June!!

Got out to were we wanted to start squiding and the motor ran out of gas :o

I knew it would, I had something in the main tank ? 1/2 tank in the side and a 1/4 in the other side.

well after we ran out and started on the other tank, it was all over!!
Motor would not run for Crap, The gas is from last June! and when I got home I noticed that the vent cap is broken on one of the vents, and looks like water might have gotten in there??

any way I got it running on the third tank pretty good, but I said we better head in so we did.

I will tune and add all good gas and filters this week and hope for a better run Fri or Sat.

Did mange to catch a couple of small 12" schoolies before coming home.
