What are they?

Me and my son went fishing in raritan bay in nj. And 5he fishing was not to good. But there is always a but when we were going out my son said. Hey dad ( that’s me. Dad ) did you see that huge splash? No I didn’t. But. When we were coming back I did see huge fish chasing something. Now I don’t mean bluefish or strippers something much bigger.
I think they were tunafish. Not false albacore but tuna, in the bay? I don’t know what they were but they were fast and big. Just wanted to share that with you guys. Plus we seen dolphins too. In the bay. Crazy stuff going on.

saw a big splash once near Geeorgtown SC, pointed it out to our guide, few minutes later, we saw it again, ended up being a White Sturgeon, very rare fish to see.

Funny you mention sturgeon, friend of mine was wade fishing for trout last week, had a 6 ft sturgeon swim right by him. Scared the bejesus out of him. First thing he thought was shark, then he saw the back and thought gator. He said that was worse than a shark. Then he realized what it was.

Step, I've seen Sharks, Albacore & Dolphins in the bay, there were even Dolphins in my marina, in Great Kills - Never a Tuna - In that bay any thing is possible - With the water temp around 77, a Tuna is what might've been splishing and splashing - Didn't they see a Whale there last year or the year before?
Keep the camera around your neck 😂 :ROFLMAO: ENJOY - 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

A couple of years ago, one winter. we had giant bluefin jumping in 20 ft of water off N Topsail, people were taking pics from their balconies of the condos. I normally troll that area for Spanish. I don't think they've come in that close, or that far South since then

Giorgio when you say sharks ?what kind of sharks are you seeing. . I did hit a whale about five years ago I the bay very close to my marina ,that was. Really scary and what I think I seen this weekend ? I don’t know but they were very big and fast.
I did see dolphins this weekend and I’m sure you seen stergeons flying ou5 of the water by Swinburne island and in the bay. You don5 know what’s in the bay today .

Step, not sure what kind they were, I was fishing off of our New Dorp Beach area and two went by the boat, about 20 feet, all I saw were fins. I was close to the Reach Channel. No I never did see Sturgeons flying out of he water, sure wish I did. This is going to be a long Independence Day weekend - So everyone be careful, be safe and enjoy our countries INDEPENDENCE DAY - GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸

I have seen them not jumping but torpedoing out. Straight up. Friggin crazy. Huge fish too my son who does most of his fishing on the ny side by Washburn and Swinburne island right outside the Verizano bridge had on jump right next to his boat. He told me. Dad that was the biggest fish he had ever seen. And he has been fishing since he could walk. So he seen a lot of fish.
