We are getting ready here in Florida. I went out tonite and bought some big eye bolts - drilling some holes in the driveway concrete and gonna epoxy them in to use as tie downs for the boat. My sons will be here, plus college roomates of my youngest son. They are coming up from Ft lauderdale. We'll put up the shutters up, check out the generator, fill the coolers full of ice. Got plenty of food, water, emergency supplies. 80 gallons of gas in the boat. One thing that was in short supply last year was BEER. got that covered to!!! Only good thing is it will cross the peninsula before it gets here, It should lose some of the punch, and it's moving reasonably fast. Last year they just lingered for days. I got a new house built to withstand 125 mph plus winds. Hopefully it'll miss us and I'll still have a full tank of gas in the boat!!!
