Wellcraft V20 Pilot house

Thanks for the reply and info on pilot house

Sorry for the late response back but this work thing is always getting in the way. That's pretty close to what I was thinking as far as the cost. I knew it wasn't cheap and the changes you mentioned will be helpful.
I think I will start getting the parts and wait until January to actually get it put on. I'm starting now to fish the SF bay and ocean until the fall then I hit the fall run stripers hard until the end of the year. Only thing I do from Jan. to March is the sturgeon but I can hitchhike on a buddies boat while mine is down.

Thanks again and keep me posted on any other changes or improvements you come across with the pilot house

Let me know when you get started, I have about 40 feet of the rubber window seal leftover. I needed something like 55 feet but could only get 50 foot rolls. I will sell you what I have.

I love it. Some nice mahogany fronts and done. Getting bottom paint done next week then pro coming to cut wax and polish boat. When wax done new rub rail going on. Need to be ready for for first weekend of June.

Great job I did something very much like that when I have my v20 made everything out of starboard I'll have to get a picture of it and show you are you always looks better

Thanks for the pix.
Been daydreaming about that very thing for a while. I even got 3 pair of stainless heavy duty drawer slides from some scrapped cabinets at work. I like the way you routed the holes instead of one big hole with cabinet inserted. I have a cooler/bench seat blocking the bottom of that bulkhead though. Was thinking maybe have drawers inside the cuddy, sliding toward centerline.

Nicely done - for a metal guy, you did some good looking wood work (and of course the metal work is beautiful). :nice:

I picked up the drawer slides at Home Depot. They are the soft close type. They suck themselves in the last inch and a half. Feels like it should be enough tension to keep them close in rough water. I was thinking of putting some locks on the right side of the drawers. The RV style ones like on the glove box under steering wheel.
