Very nice boat,I'm surprised it didn't sell yet,but it will. Fishing season is just getting started.
Let's break it down
Trailer $2000.00
Engine 200 hp. New power head $3000.00
Hull $2900.00
Sounds and looks like a great deal for a great hull
The engine might be worth more too .
Plus all the extras you listed add another $1000.00
That brings the hull to under $2000.00

Step, thanks for the positive post, I sure hope it can sell for him. If the weather holds out, he should be getting her ready to get wet in the next week or so.
Thanks again
G

If I was in the market for a boat ,I would buy her immediatelyl. She is a great looking boat but I have one so I know. She will be sold. I know it
What happens is that when people go to look at her first thing they are going to say is
Wow she is very old. But it doesn't matter with fiberglass but that's what they are going to say. Me, I don't care how old she is as long as she was taking care of. I went to a boat salvage yard in Georgia. And it was filled with newer boats and I only saw 1 steplift and that one looked better than the other newer boats. Go figure.

Step, this weekend looks good so I guess he will working on her. There isn't much that needs to be done, change the thermostats, the plugs, wash and wax, Flitz all the stainless steel and the prop, then start her up, bring her to the marina and get her wet. Lloyd just painted the deck last season. I will ask him to send current pictures, but I don't think there will be that much of a difference.
Thanks
G

The only issue I would have is the engine,e tech. Not sure how those engines are,I know there was a lot of problems with the E Tech but don't know if that's the year. But for $6000.00 it looks like a great deal as long as the engine is good. With the trailer to Too? Why would it not sell, I would buy it.

Step, knock on wood, as I'm being told, the engine runs like a top and I haven't a clue why she won't sell. No interest in her at all, not even at the marina. I even put it on F/B for Lloyd and a friend of mine has it at his marina, nothing.
Lloyd and his partner fish almost every weekend, so that's one way I know the motor's running well and if it wasn't I wouldn't post that it is.
Thanks for your input.

Crossing my fingers.

I don't know,it's a great boat and the price is really really good. I guess he will just have to wait till a person who can appriciate a great deal. I don't know about Facebook market place but what about Craig's list? Or just leaving a sign for sale on her at the marina Maybe he can look around and find someone who can sell it for him like a tackle shop with a lot , around here you see boats lined up in tackle shops for sale,im sure the get a cut but that's buisness . It's a very nice boat. It will sell.

Step, he has a big 4 sale sign on the boat and I was told last year he had it on Craigs list, so it's on 5 different sites, we'll see. This boat has been on the market for 2 years now and he has to get rid of it by the end of the season. He told his partner he isn't putting the boat in storage for the Winter. He is moving to North Carolina and having his house built, so he can't be worrying boat the boat, it has to go.

The story about this saga is a long one and talk about how politics can ruin a life long friendship.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that politics are playing a part in the sale of the boat. It's sad how we have become such a polarized, divided nation. (Which is exactly what the politicians want us to be. Divided we are easier to control)
I hope your friends can someday put down the hatchets and pick up the toasting glasses.
