Good stuff Tim, How'd you get your paws on that info? Couple of interesting stats there. I noticed that in '96 the Yamaha engine option was dropped. I wonder why? Seems as though the 150 Hp range was the most popular engine choice and according to their results, mine was right in line with the performance data.
Nice post. Thanks Bud.

BS - NICE LINKS ;D

The 1995 performance data is for a 150 Yamaha - not a 150 Merc.

The data for the 1995 v21 with 150 Yamaha is what I am seeing for my 1994 v21 with 1994 150 Yamaha. Although, my numbers are at the lower ends of the ranges given for top and cruise speeds. But my rig is loaded with a kicker and heavy anchor platform/roller setup. That, and it is 10 years old! :) Prop is the same. I wonder what prop they were using on the 1993 v21 with 150 Yamaha, because those performance specs look a bit anemic.

Interesting to compare the 1995 v21, with 150 Yamaha, to the 1996 v21, with 200 Merc. You lose about 10 mph top speed and 5 mph cruise speed, but you gain 52 miles in range, 230 vs. 178. I suppose this is mostly a function of horsepower, rather than of manufacturer.

BS - I wonder how many v21/20's were made each year by model??

Seakindly , I would like to know the numbers as well .Bigshrimpin has a contact at Wellcraft , maybe they have that data .
