I mentioned in another thread that I'm looking for a V20 Dual Console.

I saw this one on the Gulfport/Biloxi Craigslist that has been posted for awhile:

Is anyone close to this one or know its history/condition?

Just looking at the pics, it looks a little rough. There's a few pieces missing, but who knows it could be solid.

Definitely looks as if it needs some work. But as rare as these seem to be I bet someone will pay the money. I'd bet he could be haggled down a bit. If that's what you really want and don't mind doing the work I think it's a good foundation. It may be rotten as heck but it's fixable in the end, just may cost a bunch of $$$. Looks pretty cool I guess, I've never really been a big fan of the DC but then again I didn't really care much for the cuddys either but I just picked one up and every time I look at it I think dam that's a sexy mother******

Yes - she needs some work. From what I can see, the rear hatch covers are no real problem. The missing left side windows (side, front, and swing over) is the biggest issue. Getting replacements might take some time as the DC is not the most popular model. It is the hidden stuff like soft floors, rotten stringers and transom that could make it a real project.

The left (Port) side bow rail is broken right where it ends also. I can't help but notice that all the obvious damage seems to be on the port side, and all of it to things in relatively in the same place. I'm beginning to think it was either driven under or went under a dock at low tide. (Although I do note that the rear transom hatch lids seem to be missing also).

Thanks for the offer. I've still got the phone number from the Craigslist ad and have been trying to get in touch with the seller.

just let me know.i live in long beach, right next to gulfport. from the pics it looks pretty rough but the duallys are pretty hard to find and i love mine. if your looking for a boat to put some work into, cant go wrong with a v20. especially the dually if your looking for a good balance of fishabillity and comfort in a 20 footer.

not on the interweb a whole lot lately so if you need me to check it out probably best just to text me 228.731.9113
