V-21

Well guys I purchased Begreene's immaculate 1996 V-21 Friday. Drove up to N.J., did a quick sea trial and pulled her to Va. It was a seamless transaction, and the boat was everything Bennett said it was and more. So, after selling my pristine fresh water used V-21 over 11 years ago and regretting it since I finally have it back, sort of. I will attempt posting a few for you guy's since I know you all can't get enough!

Greenie kept a fine boat. So glad it went to someone here! Congrats!

Did it work?

It appears so. Like I said earlier. I can get to the point of watching the progress bar at the top go from left to right all the way only to have nothing happen after 20 minutes. I was able to get the first pic done but no others.

I am torn as to whether or not to do like I did on my other 21 with relocating the anchor with a Windline bow roller & gripe.

Begreene had the trailer tail lights on extended PVC poles. I removed those in favor of the conventional water proof LED which should be here next week. He had started feathering the lower unit in anticipation of touching it up but I bought the boat first...A little more feathering, some zinc chromate primer and Evinrude white and it will look like new I assure you. And I am hoping with the right swim ladder I can get it to fit portside above that Bennett trim tab. I have one picked out that should give me the clearance needed.

I have found the discontinued engine cowl decal set on Ebay. Waiting for a nice and warm day to accomplish that!

Prop is a Rebel 15 x 18 unit which was remanufactured/tuned by Atlantis Propeller Cinnaminson, N.J. I have the complete report 3 pages.

Electronics include a Standard Horizon CP180i and a Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 94SV w/transducer. Nice unit.
