transom rebuild complete

Wolf it certainly has paid off for you. I did my 78 with Arjay a few years back and have been very pleased.

Boat performed very well, almost 5mpg at 30mph and thats running double oil since it has no hours on it. so far top speed is 48mph. Man those Etecs are sweet!...48 mph from a 150!!...:clap:
 
I ordered the Arjay over the phone from the distributer in tampa.

I had a 20" prop when I first put the boat in the water. But, the pitch was much to large, it would only turn about 4700rpm, speed was good but RPM was much to low. I recently installed a 17" prop. made a big difference. I didnt loose any speed but the RPM's are right in the sweet spot. Couldn't be happier with the etec so far.
