macojoe Administrator Nov 1, 2005 #3 Same here 2 speed 3500 with a 12,000 pound strap from Champion trailer, get the 12,ooo cause he 10,000 is only 2" wide, the 12,000 is 3" wide and fits the winch perfect!!

macojoe Administrator Nov 1, 2005 #6 boat weight dry is like 2500# so 3500 is about right and the weight the winch is for is dead pull and you have a rolling load
