That might be the reason I shoot aluminum arrows all the time.... OUCH!!!
with No issue other that the two I lost. I have had them for 6/7 years now they are on there second bow now I do have a gun rack that looks the same but full of bent aluminums. That poor S.O.B did something very wrong and knows it. I think he had an overdraw or used someone elses arrow witch was shorter than his draw lenght. The arrow must have came off the rest he pullued the trigger the arrow hits the riser and thats what you get v1carbon or aluminum shafts. I realy feel for that guy some one around here did pretty much the same thing but pinned his hand to his bow.
