THE most under rated boating accessory

A sling shot and a pocket full of rocks. We had a blast yesterday harrasing pelicans and sea gulls.

Disclaimer: none were harming in the making of this fishing trip.

We used to take one of them to bounce some .451 round balls off of Catfish stealing Gators heads while hanging limb lines at night.
When we did connect with a pretty big one (around 12' or so) he'd just growl and submerge.
Didn't really seem to bother them much, at least it made us feel better!

LoLz Stink I have a wrist rocket (look alike) also..... they're great for discouraging various members of the animal kingdom from rooting through garbage cans, eating shrubs, flower and vegetable gardens and generally making a mess of a yard. I never thought of taking one on a fishing trip though. Problem is around here (New Jersey) they're illegal, so I have to be careful where I shoot. :zip:

Tip: Turn your left hand down so the forks of the sling are vertical, then put the bottom of the upper fork on the target. You'll score a lot more hits.... errrr.... near misses. :deer:

Sounds pretty immature to me...hope you're not passing such a bad habit along to the next generation...what's the sense in damaging innocent animals?....I don't get it or think it worthy of anybody who truly appreciates the outdoors...:bsflag:

When I read the title of this thread, I was expecting something more along the lines of . . .
