Slowly starting to put things back together. Put the first coat of stain on the kick board. Might have her done this week, but wondering if I should hold off on the sliding hatch rails. The bow needs painting. Hate to paint around them in the spring. All depends on the weather. Today was anoth tee shirt day to work in, but was knocked out for most of the day with the tooth acke. Damm tooth Fairy should have taken the broken one.

Only thing I didnt work on was that damm crappy glove box. Prefer to find a plastic one, but cant find the size. The glove box always fall open when I'm moving. That or get a latch and hook or something for it.

Just put it toghter!! Get ready for fish!!

This way if you want to fish your ready, and if you feel like painting then just tape it!

Who needs paint when you have fish blood?? ;)

Forgot to sign in, yeah right.

Hammer, your work looks great, I've got a little project of my own coming up. I accidentley ripped the door jamb off mine today in the rough seas.

Do you get any water into your cabin from rain / rough seas? I'm getting water in from between the sliding hatch and the hatch rails I think.

I get water from under the cap seem some were??

True funny story!!

This guy from another board was out Cod fishing with me. We got into some sloppy water and the V was doing its job of plowing!
Just on the left side of the boat were pass foot is located you can see water running down from top to the floor, this guy was just watching it run in!! LOL

Then he saw me looking at him laughing and says serious as all get out "IS THAT SUPPOSE TO BE HAPPING??" I started LMFAO!!!!

Yo Airslot, Yepper, I get water in under the hatch rails and it finds its way into the cuddy. Gonna shhot a bead of caulk under the rails when I bolt her on. With the boat tilted up on the trailer, water sits where the hatch rails meet the raised form that the windshield sits on.

I do have a problem putting the port and starborad trim back on. They were screwed in, now the screws just spin when I went to reinstall them. Gonna fill the holes with 5200 then rescrew or just slighly move the trim back an inch.

Anybody know where I can get this black matting stuff at. Mine has a bunch of old drilled holes in it.

Actually, Lowes's has contact paper that can be used on countertops. Pre-glued.
I did what I thought was a temporary cover at home on the
kitchen counters.
After three years, the stuff is still holding strong, with no feathering.
Water splashes and all from kitchen work.

Well you could fix the holes, then paint with chalk board paint, then when you need to make a quick note, just write there, or cover with the white board and make it a dry erase board for the same, I know a guy that has a dry erase board on his boat and love it!

I have a grease pencil and write in the window and clean later, but I am going to put a small dry board in mine.
