Successful Maiden Voyage on the V!

Well I got the VHF installed and new scuppers put in on Saturday, so Sunday was the day for her maiden voyage! The weather was beautiful, 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky! ;D

Here are a few pics so Hammer doesn't arrest me ;D 8)

And yes the Bose's on the dash make the compass point to 210 degrees at all times! :) I will be moving those in due time though...also just bought a Garmin GPSMap 498 which I will be installing soon as well. I might need to start having the UPS guy deliver next door for obvious reasons! ;D

Thnaks all!

The water is the Lafayette River. It sort of runs behind our neighborhood and is about a 30 minute ride from the marina. Hop across the Bay and you're there. A nice ride across the Chesapeake then nice calm water to anchor up. A small canal comes behind our house but needs to be dredged as it's mud at low tide. One day my old neighbor will move and we can dredge it. She is the only hold out, everyone wants it dredged like it used to be....one can only dream! ;D 8)
