Stinky or Willy? Who's been deer hunting?

I've not posted much this fall, been reel busy. I've managed to drop three for the freeaer this fall. Usually Stinky's got a deer thread runnin'?

Air I've been hunting deer for twelve years in Michigan's UP and I dropped my first one this year. 4pt 125lbs dressed out. Billy Mac

got out in bow season with the goal of introducing my son to the archery version of what he did last year and he did great, one shot twenty yards thru the heart

due to my work schedule of late we were not able to get back up for the opening week of firearm in Pennsy, we made it up for the last two day, after two weeks of American snipers in the woods and a lot of cold weather there were no bucks moving at all, saw a dozen does but no horns and froze our butts off.
Friday 22 degrees ice storm, two inches of solid ice on everything, then Saturday two inches of snow over night and 12 degrees during the day. COLD

These are from my camera phone and do not do it justice, just like a beautiful woman, stunning to look at but deadly

All the while I was using mental imaging to get me thru, these are what I thought about

No deer for gun so I will have to take some deer here in Jersey with the bow to stock the freezer

I killed a doe saturday. It was the first blood of the year. Been really slow for me this year. I usually have several on ice by now....not this year. Ive had some baaaaad juju on me. On top of that it look like Im fixin to lose my job because of a lack of goverment funding.


Not a happy time round here right now. Keep the Stinks in yalls prayers....we NEED IT!

Good luck to ya Stink, hope things turn out OK, and you don't want any of what we got here during deer season, becomes a torture or endurance test . For me anyhow.
I wish I could hunt in your weather.

As my brother and I are 7 years apart and I grew up in South Florida I never hunted personally. My brother on the other hand is way out of control. Thought you guys might like to see some pics.

tell your brother he is my new hero for the day, the best I got in the big game dept. is this fellow. Tell your brother, still hunting the Missouri River breaks in the Charles Russel Wilderness Area Montana. Judging by his sickness he will appreciate what that was all about, no guide do it yourself.

All this braggin', you guys are just lucky I haven't taken pics of the squirrels and cats I have taken down. Or hit hard enough with a BB to mak'em do a back flip.

yea its pretty out of control. If I spent 1/2 as much on boating as he does on hunting I'd been in 50' cruiser.
