STA-BIL to the rescue ?

I use Stabil in all my gas motors except the truck because it doesn't sit long enough. For a good example I have not started my generator in three years. We lost power this winter and I knew that the gas would probably be varnished. I choked it, pulled the starter rope twice, and it started up and ran with no problems. I was amazed and IMO Stabil works great. I do use the marine Stabil in my two boats and never had any problems whatsoever. I also use Sea Foam and Deep Creep which works great also. All great stuff.

I started using STAR-TRON enzyme treatment as the STA-BIL is too expensive for filling up large tanks. When the fuel seperates it WILL smoke like mad when running. Just make certain to use the STA-BIL for ethanol fuel though, the other one contains ALOT of ethanol in it and isn't for use with ethanol fuels.

Not sure about the ethanol, but been a believer for 15 + years. i keep about 20 / 25 gallons of gas at the house for mowers, pressure washer, edger, etc. & i always add it to every can. my dad owned a small engine shop for 20 years and bad gas was biggest contributor to engine starting issues(after they came out with solid state ign.) like shawsee, I'm a fan of sea foam for anything 2 stroke. i also use it for 4 stroke, but i don't see the results as well. we've only had E-10 here for about 3 months, so not sure what to do about that..

I like stor-in-start, it works on everything and leaves a nice film on parts it comes in contact with. I've been using it since I bought it in 2000. I pulled a carb apart from my 1990 9.9 johnson and it was clean as brand new. I pulled it apart because part of the filter came apart and tried to go in the barrell.
