About every 2-3 years we get a bad enough tropical storm (like the last one) that I have to pump our lake down. Its normally a bout an acre and now its about 9 and threatening a building. Its kinda fun playing with tractors in the mud though.


1600'+ of 6" hose...bout a month straight of pumping ahead of me...good times.
