Should I have a look-see?

Go see. What do ya have to lose by lookin?

Lookin at beat boats is good practice. (I think that guys story is fishy.) You get good at seeing the obvious flaws, so that when you look at better boats you can see the problems as they are just starting. Sometimes even before the owner knows he is gonna have a problem.

Chesapeake 724, This is a post from a site that I check every night and covers mostly from central to south N.J. This boat has been listed in the sale and other forums on this site for quite some time. I beleive it belonged to his father and he received it from the estate. I beleive from other inquiries I read its a good sold complete package that he just wents to get rid of boat, motor, truck, etc. Sounds like a cheap platform to get someone on the water. Worth a call or look if its in your area. Crusher

Crusher -- are we talkin about the same boat?
The link above is to a for sale discussion about a guy who wants to sell or trade his "excellent" v20 for a carolina skiff because he now wants to get into little fishes in shallow bay waters. ::)

Seakindly, I went back and did search on that boat, couldn't find post to varify what I wrote, must be different boat. Birthday comming up the 16th loosing brain cells fast, old age setting in fast Crusher

No problema, Crusher.
My guess was you meant to post another link, and it didn't take.

Know what you mean about the brain cells and ageing. Would like to get back some of the ones I lost during my formative years. :o
