I have to accept no matter what!! Cause I only going to get .10 per pound, that will be $45 :o

Just got off the phone with the shipper, says that the motor is missing!!

I said thats funny caise I called yesterday and they said it was found and was to be delivered today??

She called RI and they say they no have it and its not there to deliver!!

I have a Headache!! :'(

That's no surpise at this point... :-/

I bet if you recorded all of these phone calls you could make a laughing stock out of that company.

Just the other day I was reading a story on CNN.com about how AOL makes it hard for people to cancel. A guy decided to record the conversation. It was crazy. The guy kept saying, "CANCEL MY ACCOUNT NOW, PLEASE" and the cutomer service guy keeps on at him like, "sir, did you have a bad experience or something?" and just keeps stalling him, even asking to speak to his dad at one point (the guy is like 35 years old!).

Anyway, he made them look like foooooools all over the world by posting the phone call on his website, plus it put an end to their stalling tactic by making national headlines. 8)

The fact that everyone here made all the donations to make it possible for him to have a glimmer of hope of salvaging his future boating, then to have it all shot down by some 1/2 assed shipping broker and trucking outfit. He feels like we've all gotten screwed.
This motor was his last chance with the Wellcraft and is now already talking about selling the boat as is if this deal falls apart. I feel pretty bad for him, but don't know what to do to help.

This is a major suck bag! >:( :'(

MJ if you go ahead and fill out the better business bureau complaint they will contact the shipping company and try to get results for you.  They act as a mediator.  It puts negative marks on their company for every complaint filed against them.  The only requirement for filing is that you've made every attempt possible at reconciling the problem.  

In your case the problem is they are lying to you.  That $hit ain't right.

I filed one with NC Sportsman magazine after many failed attempts at getting either a my 12 month subscription or a full $12 refund.  It worked for me and eventually got all $12 back.  Problem ended up being they printed my address wrong on the shipping labels.  They had address verifcation software that kept changing my address  ::)

They were adamant that they would not refund my $12. They also said they would only send 6 of the 12 mags that I paid for. I wan't happy and when BBB got involved they changed their tune. Ended up trying to send the 6 back issues plus continuing the subscription for 6 mos but didn't work so finally they mailed me $12.
