Screen Porch Project

My parents decided to put an addition on the shore house over the winter. We added 2 bedrooms, a bath, deck and screenroom. I did the interior of the screenroom. I started with studs.

Heres the before:

and the after, I still need to do the PVC base board and Crown molding. overall I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.

Thanks for the compliments guys:beer:

Lumber, We have a house in Cape May Court House, NJ. It was my grandparents home that we have used as a vacaton home for over 30 years. It started out as a 2 bed 1 bath rancher. Now with the addition we have added 5 feet to livingroom, 2 bedrooms, a second bath, screenroom and a small deck. The contractor is a neighbor/friend and has really done a top notch job.

The contractor did the framing and exterior siding. We are doing the interior and all the finish carpentry, electrical (which already passed inspection) and plumbing to keep costs down. Like all projects this one is taking longer than expected but finally starting to shape up.

Looks very very nice!! Better watch out Lumber may kid nap you for his crew!!

I am going to have to have a party here so you guys can build me a work shop!! Do you guys work for food??

We just replaced the ceiling fans. Costco had those same palm fans but when we put them up they moved none or very little air at all. called the manufactor and they said they are mostly for decorative. Took them down and costco took them back. I put up a ceiling fan to move air. Good luck with yours. Room looks great with alot of windows.

I noticed the fan wasnt putting down as much air as I expected:head:, I even checked to make sure the motor wasnt in reverse. I love the way the fan looks so I think I'll keep it regardless of its output. With 9 windows in a 12' x 16' room we should have plenty of air.
