Rogue wave on the sea of life

While looking for brackets I'm finding a variety of transom angles. Measuring mine is easy enough. Is there a range of angles that can be used or does it have to be exact?

Within a few degrees should be OK. Fortunately I believe the industry standard is right around the V-20's number. Most transoms are around 11-15 that I've seen for outboard boats. I believe the V-20 is 12 almost 13 when I measured mine.

AAAHHHHHHH! Thanks for my UpNorth fix. ;D

Beautiful pup -- and a great shot of her.

Ice diving? :o Are you on a recovery team, or is this "recreational diving?" We have a few other divers on here.

Ferminator, thanks for the info on the transom angle

Pipe dream, I used to train with one of the county teams but not on a team anymore. Mostly recreational but do some diving with a side business for extra cash.

One thing about brackets when looking at used is that the V20 has a curved transom,
now if you just go with a center bracket this is not a problem, But going with a bracket like mine I had to make some shims on the out side edges, Cause mine came off a Seacraft which was stright across.

Nice pup, Northern...hope the boot survived ;) ...thanks for all the great pix...ya'll hunting/gathering under the ice or lookin' around...looks COOL either way 8) ...
