Quiet like a mouse

I would be in favor of eliminating the politics, but if you ditch the specific forum, it bleeds over to other threads. It would take a lot overwatch to keep the threads clean from politics. I know the moderators on this site do it for free and enjoy being a part of it, I wouldn't want to increase the workload for them. Without a specific thread, it will turn up in one post or another eventually( the reason the political thread was created). I have plenty of other places to talk politics on line, but only one wellcraftv20.com. Unfortunately, this site, along with a lot of similar sites are fading away. Ive tried to bring more people into it( still do), a lot of them were run off by the majority of discussion on this board in the politics thread. We all know where the rhetoric was coming from, and the problem has been eliminated(twice), but the damage was done a while back. Eliminating the notifications of the politics threads from anyone's feed helped, but it was too little, too late, and the damage was done. Most of the other sites i visit have the politics behind a voluntary paywall. It works on there, but they have a team of mods and a bunch of members( for you 4 wheel drive enthusiast, Irate4X4.com). We've lost a bunch of members over the years, for a variety of reasons. it will never be as good as it once was, but I refuse to give up on it. I check this place at least three or four times a week. I'm still here if anyone has a question that needs to be answered.

Boy did you make a mistake. lol. I have a stupid question. My 1988 150 mercury outboard. Blackmax.
Sometimes when she sits for a while like 2. To 3. Weeks she is hard to get her started. She always does but it takes a while. I was told to hold the choke key in for 30 seconds and that would help.
What do you think spare?
Aldo it’s always good to hear from you.

are you pumping up the primer bulb before starting? Holding the key in while spinning the engine over induces fuel into the cylinders via teh crankcase. It takes a minute for teh fuel to reach the cylinders, and you have to have the engine spinning over for it to get there

Agree with this 100%. When you mentioned Irate4X4 I initially thought you had misspelled Pirate4x4 and thought you might have been into Land Cruisers and other Toyota 4x4s. That site is wicked! I've been a member for years on another one: IH8MUD.com. It's a great site for Toyota enthusiasts and I've had a few: a Land Cruiser, a 4Runner and 2 Sequoias. It had a section called P&R (Politics & Religion) and it was wild. The site manager finally eliminated it. Now if anyone brings politics into any thread the thread gets gone and quickly. But what a pain it must be to monitor that. I think eliminating the notifications of the politics thread here was a great idea. But I'm glad the forum is still there.
