'91 was the first year for 60 degree loopers. I think the lord skools will agree..

2 cylinder ( 35 50 45 48 50 55 60 )

yeah i had a 20' Chaparral with a 115 Johnson cross-flow it was a gas hog too. it used more fuel than the 140 looper i replaced it with. :-/

OT: Skools, I see you have a 21' Continental. I had one, center console, a '79(I think) 21', loved that boat, rode great and solid!...I heard they used them in FL for cop boats for awhile, don't know if that's true.

edit: you have the specs for that hull? Deadrise, wgt. and all??? Thanks

some where i have the tag and a spec sheet on the boat not sure where. It's a solid boat never road in it. It looks like a great hull design they were bought out by Cigarette Boat Mfg. in late 1980.

Come to think of it(been tryin' to FORGET), I had another cross-flow...'88 or '89 115 Johnny ona 17' Mckee Soutporter...only NEW boat I ever had...RUFFEST ride and SUCKED the 20 gal tank DRY quicker than you could SPIT!! Actually GLAD to see that boat go out the driveway...didn't even wave bye... :P...

They've come a LONG way in hull design since those days... ;)...

Skool, I like that sayin', too...although I didn't mind seein' THAT boat go, I'll never be BOATLESS...most who see the ''happy day'' as the day they sell it, never get back into boatin'...THAT'S what I like about it...keeps 'em off the waterways... ;) ;D...
