I finally replaced a solenoid on the 18 year old Bob's Hydraulic Jack Plate (original was still pulling closed but would not deliver any current through the contactor). It is a direct match to the old style Mercury trim pump solenoids of which I have extras in a box on a shelf. Happy Happy. If someone only made a switch that could hold up to the Florida sun, salt spray, etc. I think I replaced the switch 3 times in 18 years.

I put a TH Marine Atlas jackplate on my 19 ft skiff and am very happy with it.
