Pulpit question

vic (fellow v20 member) built my dash out of ipe, and it looks great. he builds custom decks and had some scrap. i finished it with cetol and it looks like teak..
 
Hey AIRSLOT, just recieved a phone from a buddy, works in construction, he might have some 1/4 alum. for us as a backing plate for the pulpit. Also put a call in to a friend at the boat yard, so if you cant find anything, I might be able to get us both a plate, free of cost.

Well, that would be good news, because it turns out we cleaned house last week, everything went to the scrap yard. On the bright side, the employee moral fund got a nice boost. ;D
 
I was just thinking, IF i was waiting on a theoretical Top Secret package, which I'm not, I might get getting as antsy as a kid at Christmas ;D
 
Well, I got one piece for sure. Going out shortly to grab it. The other I should have tonight I hope, but wont know until later since the guy is working midnights.  ;)
 
Hey AIR, I came across a plasma cutter today and cut this piece if you need it. It's 12x13. Should be plenty for the underside of the cuddy for a backing plate. Unless you already found one.

It's not every day that you just come across a plasma cutter. If its available, it mine. Thanks for looking out for me? Now, about that package, I mean, if there was such a package ;D

Just picked up another scrap piece of 1/4 alum. Wondering if this would be a better looking pulpit, just in Alum ??
Nah. I'll stick with the Starboard. Guess I'll be playing with the Plasma cutter again. ;D

Was looking at the inside of teh cuddy and wondering how in the hell am I suposed to get my A$$ and arms in that tight spot to fasten down the pulpit >:(
Well, if MJ could do it with his popeye arms, i guess I can figure a way as well. :-/
 
I only have one bolt in there, then the other 2 are on the other side ;D
