it hurts so much, Eric was family, far beyond normal ties. When we were recovering from my daughters treatment, Eric was the first success story we met, he was the first glimmer of hope, the first answer to our prayers that a cure was to be found. He was in his forth year being clear, only to have it come back two years later. i'm very frustrated in having too many people I've loved die to cancer. My daughters thought of Eric as their brother,my wife thought of him as her son. with due respect, I never assumed the role of father as he has a good one at home. It still hurts to the core. I'll leave my oldest daughters thoughts(I'm so proud of her) https://www.facebook.com/kaylee.hall.927/posts/605243356197803
have the winds and tide in your favor and the sun at your back Erik, you deserved it!
Really sorry to hear about Eric. Thoughts and prayers sent for you and his family and friends. At least he won't have to suffer anymore, he's in a much better place now.
God bless Eric and his friends and family. Dave, I am so sorry to hear about this. I am sure you and the entire family are in mourning. Words seem inadequate. I can only imagine the end of his suffering would help to offset the pain in your heart for the loss of this brave young soul. RIP Eric.
