Old School Transition

Whalenkm,

First of all as long as you're participating here it feels like Old School stayed in the family.

Second: Yup, the wife is a little happier now that Old School isn't headed west.

Wait a minute... Maybe I can work this to my advantage tonight.   Hmmm, how do I spin this?

Gotta go!  Wish me luck.

well whalenkm,

I think you just got a mighty fine taste of what it is like here. In the winter we tend to get a little bored and do stuff like post pics of our wife's panties. ??? Dont ask me Hammer started it.

Again welcome aboard, and stick around, you will learn more about that boat here than you ever would need to know ;D

Hey Kevin,

You forgot to mention that you just about ran outa gas too. :P Let me know when you want to get it down your driveway. We can do it later today - In Daylight! if you want. It is a very sweet boat. I have to admit - I'm a little jealous ;), but I now have something to strive for with my '78 V

Hammer......I have this thing called a job that is preventing me from taking photos right now. I will plan to be home in daylight to get some!

Yes, it's true I was very low on gas when I got home....funny it only took about half a tank to get there. :-/

C Yensen,

Yes to both questions. I let kevin know about the boat when found out he was interested in a purchase. The rest is history.

I have a '78 V-20 steplift with a 1988 Merc Rebuilt. I got the boat for a song, but everything needed work. So far - completely rebuilt the trailer, added the Merc.(only had a lower unit on the boat when I got it) replaced the fuel tank, Reglassed 1 frame, added 1 frame, replaced all hoses, bilge pump, some hardware, added racor fuel filter, added some rod holders, scraped and painted the bottom. This year I want to completely rewire the boat with new gages and add a digital fuel meter. Over the next two lifetimes - make it look more like Kevin's boat.

Carl

I have actual photographs of when I got the boat, and some of the work I did last year, but nothing digital. This year I have aquired some digital technology so pics will be posted.

Carl......I have a new printer/scanner/copier so I can digitize the prints for you! ;D
