OFFICIAL 2nd ANNUAL FISHING TOURNEY

Hell no, he caught a beautiful fish no matter what the scale says. Not only that, at least he put forth some effort, more than I can say for myself. As far as I'm concerned, Sean is our new HERO ;D

No hard feelings here! Sean is the reel deal on those blacks. I didn't get to fish so I guess instead of put up....I just need to shut up. ;D

Honey - do's
Honey - dues
Honey - doo!

She's even got me booked up for next weekend >:( Its been a living HELL BUT, I'm fishing the next 2 - that's TWO weekends straight so she can forget about booking me for those! :-* :P 8)

;D Shucks, you guys are making me blush ;D
I'm just privlidge to have such a great resource @ my disposal and a litle know how to be able to fish it right.
Trust me, for all the good trips I tell you guys about, there are many more trips that do not produce. Just putting my time in ;)

I was sitting at home yesterday realizing that after the big storm rolled through Saturday it was beautiful out there Sunday. Forecast said seas less than 1 foot so I grabbed my gear and got out on the water for one last ditch effort. Alas, no 12 lb tog were caught but I had to give it one more try considering how nice it was outside. I managed only a few fish and just one keeper. :(

Congrats Sean!

Whale, Don't give up yet, The real Black fish run is just starting! The next couple weeks should be good. Unfortunetly I will be a trailer Queen for the rest of the season, and only be able to get out on weekends :'( :'( Except for the two sick days I feel comming on ;D ;D
Go to the shore and catch some of the stripers roaming/goarging around. We have been catching some decent sized Stripers as of the last few days ;D ;D

Anything over 5lbs is a good fish, around 20 inches.
16 inches is a "keeper" in RI, and for a 16inch fish they fight like the dikens ;D

OH, CY you were talking about Stripers?? Sorry, I thought you were asking about Black Fish.
Anything around 15/20lbs are decent fish... with a few bigger mixed in ;) Shore reports are kept to a minimim until after the run 8)

Stripers up here need to be 28" minimum in CT and RI with a 2 fish limit. CT had messed with slot limits a few years back, 2 -fish limit with 1 between 28" and 40 " and the other greater than 40". I think NY still has something similar. I wish NY, CT and RI would all have one requirement. I could theoretically fish across all three borders within one drift.

Blackfish in CT need only be 14"

Well boys no one posted any fish last night so I declare

                            Sean
