Offical Charleston get together thread

We got home just before 10pm last night. We hit traffic for about 30 miles between Richmond VA and DC. Michele and I had such a good time we are already talking about how we want to do it again next year. It was great to meet everyone. we consider all you guys great friends of ours. Being the only wife there Michele said she never felt out of place and that she felt like she had known everyone for longer than just a few days.
Lee, It was my pleasure to have you on board our boat. I'm glad you did 'cause I'm still learning to fish and you hooked us up.
Ozzie, I will never forget metting you. I meant what I said about the extra V that I have. It wasn't the beer talking I promise.
Vic, You have such a sweet boat. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I could never tell it was an '83. I don't care how much it rattles I still love the way it sounds at idle. And like Lee said your daughter was a real trooper. None of my kids would have put up with this weekends activities.
Willy, It was great to finally meet you. I hope we can get together angain soon. Next round is on me!
Rob, sorry your boat was giving you some trouble this weekend. If you want I could take a look at it sometime. You need to PM me your address. I want to send you those speakers for taking care of our tab the other night.
Dave, Thanks for setting this all up. It was great meeting you and your family. We had the time of our lives. We can't wait to do it again.

BTW I already miss the SC weather. Right now at the lovely Jersey Shore its 38 degrees and raining. On wed. they are calling for a rain/snow mixture.:fight:

Made it home just fine. Great weekend. Melissa and I had a great time. She is a trooper for only being 8 yrs old. Thanks for the compliments on the boat. It was a real treat to meet all of you. Special thanks to Spare for pulling us all together with the oysters and Reel for being our guide on land and sea. Never touched the camera all weekend but Reel did. Can't wait to see some pics.
Three Wellcrafts and a Mckee Craft, No v-20's from South Carolina or neighboring states:bat: Just saying...

Why the heck are there no pictures yet?????

:bat:

:head:

Ok, sorry, just anxious to see them...

:hi:

and yes, I think you need to post the video to you tube...

we are waiting......

that suks we want pics of babes and boats in that order too
And if we're going to start breaking it down by priority, I'd say Babes with no clothes, babes with skimpy bikini's, babes in general, almost anything else like boats, food, alcohol and lastly, pics of that old geezer willy.

Noone got pics of the naked chicks partying on the 50' Sportfish parked under the 526 bridge. Sorry, for some things you just have to be there.

glad everyone had a good time. The weather was great, it could have been blowing much harder this time of year. So what ya'll think, fall trip, like around October? Fishing will be better, weather will still be warm, rooms will be cheaper, i won't be as busy, and i might even have my V running by then.

Just got in around 9PM, Rob is on the way home to North Jersey. Rob is a great guy and I don't think he wore his Ipod once in the 28 hours we were on the road together.
He has a nice V20 and he graced me with some time behind the wheel which brought back great memories. Thats me at the helm in some of Ozzies pics.
South Carolina Low Country is beautiful and the weather was great for us.
Spent Sunday walking Old Charleston with Rob and my new good friend Steve, Rob's life long friend from Fla., did some shopping and stopped for a great lunch at Heimens and some cocktails at the Fleet Bar.
It was my great pleasure to meet all of you Snaggers and one Mrs. Snagger, Michelle who was a nice lady.
My good friend Ozzie was the classic gentleman as always and it is always a good time when he and I are downing Jameson's and spend time together, and by the way I am not the only one with Super Models in the family I am here to tell you.
Vic and his daughter Melissa were great and his V CC is sweet. His motor sounds like a cross between a Harley and a dragster, sweet.
There was a loose cannon running around, and I call him friend, Lee you my friend are a piece of work and I love ya man. And she did not like "Krinkle" I am telling you.
Dave thanks, I enjoyed finally talking with you face to face instead of the phone all the time. Your family is precious.
I learned a few things, I can now pop open oysters almost as fast as Lee, I know what makes a good oyster knife. I know that the really fabulous Grits are not the ones on a plate but they are walking around all over the place down there and they will take your breath away twice, once when you first see them and again when they speak with that sweet drawl.
I learned again the charm of the south runs deep and is wonderful. The people live a good life.
I learned that friends can come from a little time on a little black box and a screen. I wish my friends Franco and Skools and Blue Runner could have been there.
And that everyone of them i met from this site I can honestly say I look forward to seeing again.
Thanks all of you for a great time, its a privilege to know you.

Fantastic summary Willy. GRITS rock, but so do GRITNS!

Heck, girls raised anywhere for that matter!

You guys are some real troopers for making that long drive.

If you thought the grits were thick this past weekend, you should have seen what was around today. Highs in the low 80's, clear and sunny, light wind. Plenty of bikinis walking around.

All right Rob you hear that? I am ready

But in all honesty you don't need bikinis, per se, all you need is to sit at the middle small bar first floor in Red's and your heart will be fluttering all night, just make sure you have a view of the register the girls all use on the side of the bar.

And don't refer to the gorgeous blonde bartender as "Krinkle" to many times and you will have a great time.
