nice looking boat to have sunk That's just like CT_V-20's and my 250/248 Coastal.

I would love to have the hard top off that ol girl for mine.
 
Yea I saw that Pipe, thats the third one I have heard about in the past month, all in marinas and all three sunk do to a failure of a thru hull :-/
 
that's why i remove all them cheap plastic ones and install stainless thru hulls only

you've never seen a Sport fishy or a large cruiser yacht with plastic / nylon have ya?

Yep, those brackets are the same as the one Kamikaze sold to me. They are Gil brackets. Here's a pic of it recently installed on my V.

yeah i just took a hammer and broke the old plastic ones out and bought new stainless ones and installed. I'm thinking of adding 2 more to the V-20 to get the deck to drain just like the 250 Sportsman does. they drain out the sides on each side. I haven't changed the 250 yet due to it needs like 15 and the Sea Ray has them here just not installed till i paint it, but the Sea Ray has like 15 or so as well.
