New Top and Painted Floor (PICS)

I installed my top from GMI last week and painted my floor with Ultra Tuff. So far I'm really pleased with both of these companies and would reccommend them to anyone.

you sure got a beauty there Mulv.....:nice:

you got curtains for the that top?

looks like your hiding another boat behind the V? you got a project V like Hammer?

Thanks Cy:beer:, Thats the shadow of my Dads Manatee you see behind the V. I don't have curtains for the top, but I did have them put a zipper in the front so I can get a front curtain made when I get some extra money.

I have the full enclosure and the front curtain is all i use. Make sure they make it so you can zip and roll up the center section. I provides a nice breeze through when underway and you can stand behind the wheel and drive without the wind in your face.:fam:3

like this.....

That looks good, I like standing in the center of the windshield when I drive. I was out at #9 buoy for the first time Saturday and could see Delaware clearer than Cape May. It was like a parking lot out there, 7 party boats and probably another 75 other boats. I only caught 1 small flounder and moved off the concrete ship in Cape May and caught a couple of shorts and a 22 inch keeper.

Looks really nice. I agree with making sure you can roll up the center portion of any windshield curtain.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Lumber, The prep was simple. I had a couple of small gellcoat cracks to repair so I grinded them out faired and sanded. I roughed up the deck with a 50 grit disc on an orbital sander and primed. They have a special primer to use with there paint, it goes on real milky and dries clear. After that you just roll or spray the non-skid paint on. They sell a special roller for rolling the texture. Its easy and the results are professional looking. i used 1 gallon of paint a quart of primer and 2 rollers, it came to like $125 shipped.

How ruff is the non-skid? Is it Too ruff for bare feet or if kids were on their knees would it scratch them?

thanks

Looks good, sir! What kinda' prep did you have to do for the floor? Did you paint over paint? gelcoat? fiberglass? My floor's paint is coming starting to crack and chip.

Ches, the prep was simple. I painted over the existing gellcoat. All I did was fix a couple of stress cracks, prime and paint. They sell a special primer to use with their paint. I rolled it but you can also spray it if you have a gun that will shoot texture. The whole process was really straight forward and simple.

Looks Great. It looks like you dont have a live well, is that part in the middle your fuel tank cover? I especialy like aft pole on the bimini top. Mine has straps on it and I cant ever seem to get them tight enough so the top doesnt "ruffle" in the wind. Nice job, and...thanks for the idea.:hi::beer:
