Need a opinion to permix or autoblend

I know premix is a sure thing but I'm getting tired of going to the fuel dock and asking for x amount of gas so I can mix oil. I saw this on ebay and was wondering what yall think . I took one of these out of junk boat that had a 90 merc.I think it might be ok for my old 150

there is a reason Mercury sent out a bulletin to remove every one of those that was still under warranty, I'd rather premix

Thanks spare must be why the one I have was on a junk boat.I guess I'll have to keep premixing till 36 year old engins gives up.

Just get one of them oil bottles with the measurements on the side, go get what ever gas, then measure the oil out after. Thats what I always did, easy!! I never use to fill it till it was puking any ways and always had room for the oil, when the pump clicks off thats it its full!

MJ That's exactly what I do now.It was wishfull thinking to be able to tie up to fuel dock and not have too count gallons .The way gas prices around here are your better off not knowing how many gallons you got

You can always do what I did and buy an electriclly operated oil injection unit for your engine.

Easy to install and it seems to be doing the job. I've only had the engine on muffs so far, so cannot comment about on the water performance, but I have no reason to think it it won't work just as well on the water.
