Fact: Trumps law fare has stepped in to block the complete funding of SNAP for the month of November. Government shut down, longest in history. Way to go MAGA, how could you stand for this?
 
Not to mention the serious disconnect president Bone Spurs has with reality with respect to Affordability…. Spent zero time looking for $2/gallon gas. Gaslight much?
 
Before you say we don’t have the money to feed the poor, I’d say look to the tariffs. But all that is a lie as well. Traditionally only about 2% of the nations intake of dollars. Tariffs will push it closer to 5% but still a hella long ways off from replacing federal income tax as the president claimed. You know, when he LIED.

Me too. My wife gets mad at me when I go check on my boat and I want to wash her. She says, she is clean. Go fishing and stop washing her.
Sorry honey but that’s how I role. I like a clean boat. Even when she is clean I still run water over it.
I live in nj and my boat is about 70 m8les away at the marina. If she was in my driveway I would be cleaning her right now.
Where,what state do you live in? Is it warm now. It’s going to rain here

I hear you. It's a weird time of year here for keeping a boat clean. Unless I'm diligent a little green appears here and there, around the dash switches and such especially, on the star board (plastic) surfaces. It can take some effort to get rid of it.
 
Bleach is our friend. Also if you go to the dollar tree or should I say the $1.50 plus tree. In the cleaning section they have toilet bowl cleaner. I forget the name of it. Use that for getting rid of rust and stains too And stubborn stains. Use awesome from the dollar tree.
It’s called the works. I just looked it up

Interesting take. Republicans voted repeatedly to fund the government, including paying the troops and air traffic controllers and funding SNAP. Democrats repeatedly voted against the CR because they wanted to maintain their "leverage."

Yes it is. And it works great on fiberglass. Check it out. My son worked at a marine store and they detailed boats. That’s when he told me and I tried it. Works from the dollar store. Works great. Do a small spot cause I know you have dough's about it. You will thank me later. I just searched the works and they changed 5he formula don’t use it if you have a colored hull they said it can stain it. I still use it but rinse it off good.
They just couldn’t leave well enough alone. Why did they change the formula?
I still use it on my white hull. Gets rid of stains

I don’t want to seem stupid about politics but I am. They were talking about the CR bill, what is that?
 
So what it means without all the fancy words is this
The government keeps doing the same thing until there is an agreement. That’s good. BU5 what I would definitely put in the bill is that if the government shuts down like it just did no government employee the congress the senate. Everyone gets no pay and no retro active. Nothing. Till it’s agtreed. Th3 vic3 president. The president. All the gov paid. Even the post office what the heck the post office screws up anyway. Maybe they need a day off no senators. No congress persons.
 
Hey we can agree to disagree. Not sure what leverage you think the dems have. Never used the product you mentioned but snow bowl works wonders on removing tannin acid stains from the hull. Another product that works well is Alina-bright. It’s all acid base and rough on gelcoat.
 
Besides there is contingency money for snap. The ones which hold the cards are just trying to inflict as much pain as possible on the poor.
Can we agree that whomever is in charge should not wait until the last minute to fund the govt. no more golf or vacations until they figure this out.

I think it was Lindsey Graham who proposed that congresspersons not be paid during the shutdown. It was never allowed to advance.

Interestingly, income tax never stopped being deducted from my pay . . .
