THEFERMANATOR
God
Got the MRI done today, and lets just say I would rather be water boarded than go through that again. I'm not exactly a small guy, so imagine being stuck down to my arms in a tube for 25 minutes while sitting completely still for 25 minutes with your leg weighted down and held in place with sand bags and towels propping it up. Then after this fun you get to have the REAL experience of being stuffed inside a cannoli for 30 minutes to have the hip scans done. There wasn't enough room inside the tube for my arms to lay at my side without being wedged against the walls of the MRI machine, and keep in mind those walls get HOT during the scans. Once you get wedged in they have to come back and stuff cushions between you and the tube so you don't get burned. And once your in there you can't bring your arms up because there isn't enough room between your chest and the top to squeeze them out. And during the 30 minute scan remember the tube is hot, so your pouring sweat from your back. And after all this they tell me there was so much metal in my hip that the hip scans didn't really come out and all you can see is the metal. Hopefully it wasn't a total waste and the doc can see what he is looking for in them next Tuesday when I go back in.
