Looking for suggestion/comments/ideas

Now here is the bad news. Look at yesterdays seas. Have you ever seen a more perfect day to go out in the ocean and break in a new engine? NOT A RIPPLE in sight! The day I take delivery will probably be 7 footers!

Pure glass! Reminds me of when we would be leaving Cape Hatteras from a weeklong trip. Almost always we battled the seas every day only to see flat seas for miles and miles while crossing Oregon Inlet bridge on the way home.

With just a few day left before we take delivery of the Dusky, the wife found these while looking for some other pics of old friends that moved away. I thought someone might enjoy some pics of my old friend. What a great all around comfortable runabout the V21 is. Cruising the canals or flying in the ocean she was a great find back in the day. Time to make new memories on my new toy.

Drum-roll Please! Today is the day she goes for the first sea trial. They have chose a 3X16X21.5 Factory prop for the first test. Helm seats are installed but still missing the cushions for the bow and full width stern seating. The shade canvas inst ready yet either.

Sky, congrats on the special day! Love the boat, looks like you will have a gracious plenty fishing room in the back. I know that is what you were going for.

Finally got the boat on the water for the first run. Unfortunately the movie file is not supported. I did grab a still from the file.

I was hoping for 55 at best, but quite happy with 50 and not broken in yet. I think the motor will pick up a little as it wears in, but that will be offset by gear and fuel probably. 50 is going somewhere so I am happy. I wish I could post the video from this morning but the site doesn't support it.
